posix_spawnattr_getschedparam()

Get the spawn-schedparam attribute of a spawn attributes object

Synopsis:

int posix_spawnattr_getschedparam(
       const posix_spawnattr_t *_Restrict attrp,
       struct sched_param *_Restrict sched_p);

Arguments:

attrp

A spawn file attribute object.

sched_param

A pointer to a sched_param structure where the function can store the scheduling parameters.

sched_p

The scheduling parameters to assign to the new process image in a spawn operation (if POSIX_SPAWN_SETSCHEDULER or POSIX_SPAWN_SETSCHEDPARAM is set in the spawn-flags attribute). The default value of this attribute is unspecified.

Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.

Description:

The posix_spawnattr_getschedparam() function obtains the value of the spawn-sched_p attribute from the attributes object referenced by attrp.

These functions are part of the Spawn option and don't need to be provided on all implementations.

Returns:

Upon successful completion, posix_spawnattr_getschedparam() returns zero and stores the value of the spawn-sched_p attribute of attr into the object referenced by the sched_p parameter; otherwise, an error number is returned to indicate the error (errno is set).

Errors:

EINVAL

For any invalid parameter.

Success.
