posix_spawnattr_getstackmax()

Get the maximum stack size for a spawned process

Synopsis:

int posix_spawnattr_getstackmax(
       const posix_spawnattr_t *_Restrict attrp,
       uint32_t *_Restrict size_p);

Arguments:

attrp

A spawn attributes object.

size_p

The maximum stack size for the child process, if you set POSIX_SPAWN_SETSTACKMAX in the flags member.

Use the -l c option to qcc to link against this library. This library is usually included automatically.

Description:

Receives the maximum stack size for a spawned process that uses the posix_spawnattr_t object pointed to by attrp.

This setting only takes effect if the POSIX_SPAWN_SETSTACKMAX flag is set. A value of 0 or an unset POSIX_SPAWN_SETSTACKMAX flag indicates no maximum.

The default value can be retrieved with a call to posix_spawnattr_getstackmax() using an initialized posix_spawnattr_t object.

The process ID of the child process, or -1 if an error occurs (errno is set).

Errors:

EINVAL

If there are any parameter errors.
